My laptop bought in Feb 2023 has developed a glitch. The bottom left ctrl key gets stuck on. My colleague uses right click on the mouse, but another user and myself use the CTRL short cut keys for everything… A local repair shop tried switching the top bits with the Windows key but this did not help and suggested the circuit board below has degraded. The repair guy says replacing the keyboard on this model is basically a rebuild of the whole machine. So, what are my options? Do Acer offer an after sales service? Or could another repair guy find a genuine after sales part?

Physical damages are not covered by Acer warranty so better find a local tech to fix the key.

If there is no damage and if the key got stuck than you can reach Acer service but may sure the unit is under warranty when you call Acer
