Aspire 1 A114-31-C8R2 After installing SSD it shows there is a Windows update that cannot be install

I have an Aspire 1 laptop. Out of the built-in 28GB of internal storage, I have less than 1GB (between 200MB and 500MB) remaining. An external SSD was purchased, and that is now being the go to place for new saved files. But there is a Windows update that cannot be installed. Even when clear some space it's never enough for the "Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5037768)." I was advised to do this:

1.Click on the Windows Start -> Settings-> Type Recovery Options -> Advanced Start-up, click on restart now.

2. Select "Troubleshooting"

3. Select "Reset this PC"

4. Select "Remove all personal files and data

5. Select “Local Install”"

 6. Select "Just remove files"

7. Select "Reset" A reset process will begin taking 45-60 minutes.

I have backed up all my files (onto SSD and memory stick). The thing is, I cannot reset since the laptop says I need storage space in order to do so. I have been told that I now need an internal storage. Are there any recommendations for my size of laptop, when looking at new internal storage, or does not matter? Thank you.

What is the exact model number of your Aspire 1 laptop, as there are many Aspire 1 models and they are different with internal storage and it would be allot easier to advise you correctly if we knew that.
