I have a brand new Acer Swift Go 16 OLED. I have my display settings to never turn off the laptop and screen when plugged in but the screen keeps turning off/going to sleep randomly and hitting the keys don't do anything I have to close the laptop and open it back up and it will turn back on. I've tried reseting my laptop and also checking the graphics drivers please help.

This is due to a combination of Power Plan settings, BIOS out of date/settings and the new Modern Standby state in Windows11. First check on Acer Support for your model if you have the latest BIOS installed, then press the Windows key+ R and type Winver in the Run box, you should be on Windows11 version 23H2 build 22631.3593. Microsoft recommends disabling hibernate and Fast Startup (will be disabled if you disable hibernate), If BIOS is up to date just reset to factory default with F9 in BIOS and save changes on exit BIOS. In Windows change your Power Plan to Balanced and reset the Power Plan settings to factory defaults in "Edit Power Plan". If none of this helps see the link below for the things you tried already but most importantly for USING THE MICROSOFT POWERTOYS section, I use Power toys on 2 laptops, only the Awake app is enabled everything else remains disabled otherwise all these Powertoys apps will run at the background, when I update or backup I don't want the system to go to sleep, when I finish updating I disable AWAKE too, you can close Powertoys while Awake is enabled, it will still work.
