My Acer Spin 713 suddenly developed screen issues. It has pixelated steaks at the top, the general color saturation has faded and there is patchy cotton wool spots all over. It started suddenly as we were watching a movie on Netflix. about a week prior, it was dropped on the floor but nothing was wrong immediately after. do you think I should try replacing the LCD? maybe just open it up to see if contact points came loose? the model is CP713-2W-5874. thanks!

Open it up to reseat the cable between motherboard and display. If that fixes it, good. If it changes it much without fixing it, then the cable itself might be damaged.
