Hi all, my sons chromebook started having WiFi issues. There are no networks listed when you toggle the WiFi on. I thought maybe the WiFi card was bad so I replaced it, but still same issue.

I have tried a few troubleshooting I saw online, including powerwash. I can't do a network troubleshoot it seems as there are no networks listed, nor can I check for updates with no WiFi.

Desperate to get working as he needs it daily for school.

Any ideas please?

IIRC that uses an Intel based 9560 board, which are pretty reliable. With a replacement acting the same it's almost got to be an issue with the OS or settings. Give these steps a try. You might end up doing a full reload of the OS rather than just a powerwash.
