I flashed the BIOS on an Acer Chromebook CB514-1W-37PG to install a Linux OS.

After an update, I lost sound and video out to a USB-C docking station.

I flashed the stock BIOS back and now the laptop is stuck on a black screen and boot loop.

I have tried all online troubleshooting apart from removing CMOS battery and/or SSD.

I have the stock firmware and a Chrome OS recovery on separate USB drives.

Any ideas on how to get to the point where I can re-install Chrome OS?

Unfortunately, a BIOS flash isn't supported on the Chromebooks. Something has gone wrong with your process and it will be tough to figure out. Are you sure what you put back in place was correct?
