Programs that run on second Hard Disk "lag"

Hello,

 

I have an Acer Aspire V3-771G-736b1287 (http://www.yorcom.nl/arti...-750gb-ssd-gt650m-w8.html) and it is now 5 weeks old.

It has an SSD and a HDD

 

The programs installed on the SSD work with no problems but the programs installed on the HDD seem to freeze every 30 seconds for 2 to 3 seconds

 

I notice that when the program freezes I can hear the HDD "spin up" so it likes need to get up to speed before the program continues with the action that I requested. This happend every 20 to 30 seconds. I noticed this problem when I bought the laptop.

 

I looked at my power settings and they seem to have the right settings (http://prntscr.com/yxgw4).

 

I have tried:

- installing a clean windows 8 (format everything)

- installing all the drivers from acer website

- installing all the drivers with driver genius

- update the bios
