Monitor plays sound but no dialogue??

Hi all,

Sounds like such a strange issue I just got the 34” curved acer monitor and have it connected to my xbox series x. When I play youtube it’s completely fine and all sounds are played, however once i go onto Netflix, Prime, Disney+, etc it’ll play the background noises and sounds but no dialogue? All the sounds except the characters speaking.

Really bizarre issue and I’ve seen people talking about changing the audio output and things to do with surround sound but there’s no option for me to change the sound output on the monitor.

This generally happens when you have your sound set to 5.1 and only have Stereo speakers, the audio channel with the voice is then sent to non-existent speakers! Please check your output settings in the Realtek control panel.
