I have a acer monitor vg270. It has the headphones jack port behind it. I connected my soundbar via aux to that port but iam not getting audio from my soundbar. The monitor has a built-in speaker but its very low so i want to connect it to the soundbar via aux only.

Please help me with this.

Look closely at the audio jack. Is it marked Audio In or Audio Out? The use the sound bar it need to be connected to an audio out port.

It only shows headphone symbol. It doesn't show neither audio in or audio out.

Headphone symbol is audio out, so it should work to plug a soundbar into it. You might have to go into the OSD and set volume to maximum and on the computer side set the output device to the HDMI port. You might also have to do something on the soundbar to tell it that the sound is coming in the AUX port.
