Just purchased a CB272 and I'm trying to get it to work with Windows Hello facial recognition. I thought this monitor has Windows Hello certification. But I can't get Windows 11 to recognize it for facial recognition. Found lots of (generic) suggestions on the internet, but none worked. Any ideas?

Chromebooks are primarily designed to run Chrome OS, there are some alternative methods to install Windows 11, also you need a special high-end 3-D/IR camera for Hello facial recognition.

Windows Hello support doesn't always mean facial recognition support. To do Windows Hello facial recognition you need a special camera and most laptops don't have them. You can use passwords, PINs and fingerprints on most. We're going to need more info before guessing as to any other answers. The CB272 models I know of are monitors, not laptops. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like xxxxx-xxx-xxxx.

The listing on various 3rd party web stores (like amazon) is wrong. Get a refund from amazon or bh photo.

Acer themselves never listed this model to have infrared camera, so no windows hello face.
