Hi, I am planning to buy an adapter cable for my Aspire 7 a715-42G to use in my power bank but I'm hesitant because the original adapter says 135W but the adapter I'm looking at has only 100W.

Do you think this will be compatible or should I look for 135W adapter?

Please see image for reference.

Thank you!

    That aint gonna work

EDIT: Sorry I should have said. If you try and use the laptop while on charge with this, bad things will probably happen. But if you want to recharge it overnight or something, it'll be fine. The 135W is the max power that the power supply can provide, say under heavy CPU load or something.

Also, watts, is just volts x amps. Can your power bank supply 20V at 7A? If the power bank can only do 20V at 5A and you overload it, who knows whether it will catch fire or simply limit the current. Darn it, send a pic of the power bank please.

Thank you for responding and clarifying things.

I have a Anker PowerCore 737. Here's the specification for it.

I'll try to look for the correct wattage of the adapter and a new power bank too that can supply the correct amp. Thank you!
