Camera on Aspire C27-1700 can't figure out how to zoom in or out on the built-in camera

Hope someone has an answer for my problem. I can't figure out how to zoom in or out on the built-in camera — to get a closer pic of my face instead of showing a lot of the background. Does anyone know how to do this?

Zoom function are something the app does, not something the camera does. The camera on your C27-1700 is only a 720p though, so expect zoomed image to be somewhat grainy.
