Whenever I watch videos, there's a flickering on my screen for a second. However, when I connect it to a different monitor, there's no flickering. Does anyone know the reason behind this issue?

    Welcome @Sezginn,

Check that your Nitro 16 AN16-41's firmware UEFI / BIOS is updated with the latest available version (1.20):

I had the same problem. I tried many things but it didn't work. Now, by chance, I saw this conversation and when I turned off hardware acceleration, the problem was solved.

@eGomes When the device is in Optimus mode, that is, when the internal GPU is used, there are sometimes momentary freezes in the Windows interface. Is there a solution to this problem? Will there be a bios update for this problem? All my drivers are up to date.
This problem is present in all users. Dozens of people on the forum we use have purchased this laptop and they all have the same problem. For this reason, I'm almost sure everyone has it.

Also, thank you very much for your support on the flickering problem. Our problem is solved.

Right click on desktop, click whatever graphics card option there is (mine is Nvidia control panel). You can then override which graphics card any app (such as Chrome) uses as default. Switch it to proper GPU instead of the internal rubbish and then put hardware acceleration back on. Should be nice and smooth.

Optimus is a new thing. But I've read up on it and it looks to me like a pointless gimmick.

If it is loose, fix the cable and try checking the laptop screen display.

Check Task Manager to Fix Screen Flickering.
Update Incompatible Software on the Laptop.
    Update Display Driver.
    Changing Resolution and Refresh Rate.
    Uninstalling third-party applications.
    Checking Hardware faults.

Is this problem hardware related? When I connect it to an external display, the problem goes away. Could there be a problem with the laptop screen? Panel failure?

    Hello @ttez,

If you are experiencing screen flickering issues in anything app, it is possible that you have a hardware issue!

Google Chrome hardware acceleration is known to have compatibility issues with some graphics controllers.

You can also try updating your AMD Radeon 680M graphics controller driver with latest version available:

My laptop has same problems but also I experienced some problems with audio problems. In addition, I faced sd card problems. I thought problem is AMD's chipset driver for sd card errors. But, there is no fix to solve usb to sd card driver. I had an i7 9750H laptop and it has no problems with no flickering, audio, and SD card reader problem. Even, I don't like the BIOS update procedure. I can't redo the version.

Also, I just curious about why RTX 40 series of ACER has 15700 MHZ memory clock. Normal RTX 40 Laptops have 16000 MHZ memory clock.

    My system:

R5 7535HS, 32GB DDR5 4800 MHZ, RTX 4050 140W, ACER Nitro 16-41. Please fix by BIOS or through Chipset Driver. We bought premium laptops and faced problems like these just making not trust the products of ACER. So, YOU MUST FIX ISSUES.
