I have a CB272 monitor (2019 purchase). I am having a problem that I had a couple of years ago: when I turn on the monitor, the monitor does not connect to a computer. Instead it just shows the different ports it is cycling through (HDMI, Displayport, etc).

Here is what I've tried so far:

  1. Making sure my PC and HDMI/Displayport cords work with my other monitors (they do)
  2. Power cycling multiple times. (In other words I have tried following all of the power reset descriptions in other parts of this forum such as unplugging from the wall and holding the power button for a minute).

Here is what specifically happens when I turn on the monitor:

A. blue light in corner of monitor comes up

B. Acer logo comes up on screen

C. Energy smart logo comes on

D. cycles through potential inputs but does not make the connection (VGA, HDMI, DPort)

E. The only menu I have access to is the input submenu.

F. Next I try to play with all the buttons (in every permutation I can think of) to try to get beyond the input submenu so that I can do a factory restart but there does not appear to be any way to get to that main menu.

Please help! Thanks.
