PH315-52 when install new RAM monitor stays black and there is no starting sound but KB turns on

When i install my new ram , my laptop monitor stays black and there is no starting sound on it only keyboard light turns on and if i remove the ram it works normal , my ram is compatible with the older ram so there is no problem there , pls help

I do understand it works with the old RAM, but check whether the new RAM is compatible with the Motherboard.

Please provide the laptop model number , for example: Aspire aA15-55g

We can't give you any advice unless you give us the model number of your PC as not all PCs have the same ram! Memory size and type depends on may factors but especially model number of your PC.
