Does anyone know the max speed now they have enabled XMP? I tried using the crucial pro 6000mhz and the pc refuses to boot, when xmp is off it runs fine, I'm not sure if it's because they run at 1.35v according to the site instead of 1.1 or if that's nothing to do with it, but just wanted to know if anyone knows about max speeds as I have seen people saying 5600mhz works so is it worth trying that?

    how long did you wait?

i had corsair dominator platinum 6200 in mine at one time.

it just sometimes takes up to 15 minutes for it to train the memory.

Yeah I got some 5600 ram which worked, anything over that on this motherboard just wouldn't work with xmp.

I did buy some 4800 before actually but I also noticed the xmp was greyed out, so I'm not sure if that was because I had the wrong ram type or if I just was being stupid haha.

I'll the name of the ram I got below as all my links will go to the UK site of Amazon and a lot of people here are in the US,

    Crucial Pro DDR5 RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB) 5600MHz, Intel XMP 3.0, Computer Memory (PC) - CP2K16G56C46U5

Also just something else I saw that others have done here too, it's a bit of effort sometimes to get it out but if you're confident with removing the GPU, you can take out that big metal block that works to hold the GPU in place and install one underneath and it'll help keep the GPU cooler, mine is significantly cooler now so must have been effective air flow and only cost me £14.99

Sorry just realised you asked how too, so you go into the BIOS (start pc and keep hitting the delete key) then I think is was advanced setup (F1) then to advanced - then CPU and Chipset configuration, then to the xmp
