Acer Aspire TC-1780 - ES12 Fan s info of dimension/connector/input/noise

Could you please tell me about the above info as I am in the middle of getting one that is currently on sales at Staples.ca.

    I'll ask the moderators to remove that phone number, personal info like that isn't allowed here. IIRC there isn't a case fan installed, just the CPU fan. That one is the standard fan used on Intel based systems with an LGA1700 socket. There is also a small fan in the PSU. I don't see noise specs for the model, or a fan table to show what speeds it will be running at. Fan speed is set based on CPU temperature, so if you are doing some heavy work, it will be louder than when the system is idling along. The

    CPU fan connector looks like it's a three pin, #2 here:

    There is a BIOS setting that enables and disables the smart fan so you can use that to help if the fan noise is too high, at the expensive of running hotter.
