I just bought my Acer XF243YM3 Monitor from Best Buy yesterday. The power cord that came with the monitor has a visible defect on the black insulation. Why did it come like that in a brand new monitor?

I got my power cord replaced through Acer service and there is no longer an issue. Can you please delete this thread?

Send the Power Cord back to the vendor or if the cord is fixed to the monitor send the monitor back.

Yeah, it looks just like a manufacturing defect when they didn't get the coating fully covering the wire. Not a big problem, but it should be dealt with.

I have contacted Acer through Live Chat and they are sending a replacement power cable. I have added another picture from the side view of this issue. I tried pasting this link to Acer Tech Support chat and they cannot open the link because it's a work device that has many security blocks.
