Hello,

How to run external monitor on 280hz ?

I've Predator PH315-55 and using thunderbolt I should be able to run external monitor on full 280hz that it has via display cable. Currently I use hdmi and it runs on 240hz which is still good. If you have any recommendations about which thunderbolt adapter to use please let me know.

My monitor is ASUS VG279QM it came with hdmi (240hz) and display (280hz) cables.

The model PH315-55 has a mini DP port. Use a male mini DP to the female DP adapter to utilize 1080p@280Hz. The Thunderbolt port will also do this but it is connected to the iGPU rather than directly to the dGPU which you cannot utilize the full performance.

Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!
