Predator orion 3000 CPU 100 degrees

I've just bought a predator orion 3000 DG.E3FEQ.00U. When simply looking at youtube and not playing anything my CPU temp is around 60 degrees celsius and when im playing it goes up to about 100 degrees celsius. The GPU goes up to about 45 degrees when playing. How bad is this and what could i do to solve it? Thanks

60C is high, but not out of line, for an idle temp, though normally you should be seeing more like 40C. 100C is too high at any point, that's where the automatic shutdown temperature is set. Either swap the unit out with your vendor or contact Acer support for a repair. My guess is the thermal compound between the CPU and it's heat sink is compromised, but it might just be a failed fan.
