So I just bought a ACER EDO ED240Q S3 monitor, 23.6" 180hz, I made sure to buy a monitor with speakers cause I'm tired of using my google home and ps5 remote, but the audios not working for some reason. I have it set to the ED240Q S3 high definition audio on my pc plugged in via HDMI. I tried trouble shooting it and the only "issue" that was found was that it wasn't set to default and still didn't work after I set it, I checked if the drivers were updated and they all are. The only other things I can try is to delete the drivers and redownload them, but that's a pain and I don't want to rn, or try plugging it in via DP but I cant see that being the issue as my pc reads it as a audio device via HDMI. Is there anything else that could be the issue or that I can try? Please and thank you help id appreciate it.

There are a bunch of different ED240Q models, some with speakers installed and some without. What audio ports are on the back of the monitor? That's sometimes the easiest way to tell if it has speakers or not. If it has an audio out but not an audio in it likely doesn't have speakers.
