Acer Nitro 17 Has NO Sound my laptop to a monitor and suddenly my sound is not working.

So I went to plug in my laptop to a monitor and suddenly my sound is not working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the device like 4 times now… Even when the device is 'connected' as seen in the below screenshots there is still nothing coming out. Spotify won't connect, youtube doesn't work.

Try to disable the HDMI audio in the Nvidia Control Panel.

So after restarting my laptop it randomly started working again, but I went to the setting anyway and I don't have the display option on my settings :S

That setting will appear when you plug your monitor in.

Sorry for the slow reply - it still doesn't come up when the monitors are plugged in and the sound has gone again.

Try to clean install the Nvidia GPU driver again.
