SSD or HDD upgrade on my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57-5700 ?

I haven’t upgraded my Acer nitro AN515-57-5700 yet. I’ve looked up many places for the correct upgrades for my specific model but I see more from others, and the Crucial site isn’t scanning my laptop at all (and they only had upgrades listed for the 59EY model, of which I am not sure is compatible with mine). As I have it understood (and please correct me if I’m wrong), the max capacity for each of the the two nvme SSDs is 1TB, for my model of laptop. With all that being said, can I install a third SSD on the 2.5 inch drive bay? If so, which type of brand is recommended/compatible? or would it be overdoing it and I should just get an HDD?

There is no maximum storage capacity so it can add an 8TB NVMe SSD stick. This model has an extra space for a 2.5-inch drive.

SSD or HDD depends on your usage. With games, the SSD is preferred since they need to load resources fast enough to avoid graphics glitches. HDD is just for storing files only.

Some recommendations for 2.5-inch SSD are Samsung EVO 860, WD Blue SA510, and Crucial MX500.
