Aspire R5-571-TG Display extension, HDMI, Miracast not working after Win 10 reinstall

Aspire R5-571-TG__My PCI SSD boot drive failed. I have files backed up but did not have a recovery drive. I installed a 2TB SATA SSD and did a clean install of Windows 10. MS says my Core i7 7th Gen processor is not supported for Win 11.

Everything seems to be working normally, except for the ability to use any kind of second display through HDMI or Miracast. I have gotten the latest driver from NVIDIA GEFORCE 940MX, and have also tried the one available at the Acer site.

Windows 10 is fully updated. Is there possibly an update that is interfering? I did not try it before Windows Update had run.

Thank you for any help you can give.

Yeah, a lot a device driver issues. Go to this link and start downloading and installing the drivers for the Intel AMT, chipset, mgt engine, both VGA drivers and the finger print sensor. Then reboot and run Device Manager again and post another screenshot as it opens without manually expanding any folders.

Post screenshot of Device Manager as it opens. Don't manually expand any folders.

Also search Windows start menu 'restore point'. Click 'create a restore point' near top of menu, if System Protection setting is turned on, click 'system restore' button. Click next. Do you see an automatic restore point with a date time stamp about when you let Win Update run?

Here is the Device Manager and System Restore. The Windows install and updates would have been done around March 4, so there doesn't seem to be a restore point there.

Thank you very kindly! As far as I can tell, all is normal again! All the video features are working—Miracast, HDMI, and the keyboard Fn brightness control.

Here is the Device Manager now. I realized that on the previous Device Manager I had without thinking expanded Display Adapters.

    Thank you again,
