Dear Acer Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to request assistance with my Acer Aspire A515-52 laptop. Recently, I encountered an issue where the keyboard has stopped functioning correctly, and I suspect this might be related to a driver problem, especially after a system update to Windows 11.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to locate the specific keyboard driver on the Acer support website and am unsure how to proceed to resolve this issue. Here are the details of my situation:

  • Model: Acer Aspire A515-52
  • Operating System: Windows 11, 64-bit]
  • Problem Description: The keyboard is unresponsive/not working correctly post-update. The driver seems to be missing in the Device Manager.
  • Troubleshooting Steps Taken: I have attempted to update the drivers through the Device Manager, checked the Acer support site for relevant drivers, and tried general troubleshooting steps like restarting the laptop and checking the BIOS settings.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide me with the correct link to download the necessary keyboard driver or any specific instructions on how to rectify this issue. If further information about my system or the problem is needed, please let me know.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. I look forward to your prompt response.

I understand you say "I suspect this might be related to a driver problem, especially after a system update to Windows 11."

Sometimes a simple system restore will fix the issue..

If you are able to login to windows..

Try windows + x on keyboard. It will show you a menu
click on power shell admin or command prompt admin or Terminal admin - click on yes
type rstrui on blue or black window
chose an earlier date on which your computer was working fineclick on next, finish, yes
It will restore your computer to an earlier date
if you get an message - system restore not completed or completed - click on close
It will show you all the icons..
Try and check whether it is working now ..
