Hi,

I have a Acer Predator PO7-650 with 32 GB but need to upgrade to 64 GB.

Please give me recommendation on 16 GB memory module i can buy from ADATA or Kingston etc. to uppgrade to totaly 64 GB in all 4 slots. (16 GB * 4)

can´t turn on XMP in BIOS, updated BIOS firmware to

Still can´t turn on XMP.

The memory in my comupter is following:

A-Data Technology AM2V48UCSV1-BFFS DDR5 UDIMM 16 GB 1Rx8 PC5-4800BN-UAG-1010-NT

But if I try to search and by 2 more memory modeles i can´t find them on internet. (AM2V48UCSV1-BFFS)

Is there a compatibility list with memory that works without XMP?

Here is the spec on existing memory I tried to gather:

DDR5 - modul - 16 GB - DIMM 288-pin - 4800 MHz / PC5-38400 - CL40 - 1.1 V - ej buffrad - on-die ECC

Will this work?

https://www.amazon.se/ADATA-Premier-4800MHz-PC5-38400-AD5U480016G-S/dp/B09KG86HN9

ADATA Premier DDR5 4800MHz 32GB (2x16GB) UDIMM Memory RAM Module Kit (AD5U480016G-DT)

Or

Kingston Part Number: KCP548US8K2-32

32GB DDR5 4800MT/s Non-ECC Unbuffered DIMM

DDR5 4800MT/s Non-ECC Unbuffered DIMM CL40 1RX8 1.1V 288-pin 16Gbit

https://www.kingston.com/en/memory/search/model/107976/acer-predator-orion-7000-gaming-po7-650xxx

Or this?

That's probably because BIOS can't detect XMP modules if they're not installed or mixed. You need to buy two exactly the same pairs of 6600MHz 16GB UDIMMs for a total of 64GB RAM. An Amazon example shown below.

Enable XMP in Advanced tab as shown below. Press Ctrl+S if it is hidden. You can use either regular DDR5 DIMMs or XMP DIMMs in the RAM socket combinations shown below.

I tried to enable XMP in Advanced tab by pressing Ctrl+S, nothing happens, still hidden.

The marking jumps from CPU Overclocking level to Intel AES-NI, can´t mark the row with Extreme Memory Profile [X.M.P.]

Your BIOS version is R01-A0 My is the latest R01-A1.

Or do I have to downgrade my bios firmware to your version?

Or can you give me an example on a 16 GB RAM approved module from Amazon that reaaly works with this computer with no XMP?

the DDR5 that comes in your pc is not XMP memory.

so buy XMP 3.0 memory and it will work.

so if you want to run 4x16 all 4 have to be the same.

i recommend 2x16 because i run 4x16 in mine and there are very little performance gains.

    so i now run 2x16.

do you want to buy my other 2x16? pm me if you do.

For your Acer Predator PO7-650, upgrading to 64GB with 16GB modules is a good choice. Since you can't enable XMP, consider non-XMP RAM. Kingston HyperX Fury or ADATA Premier could be suitable options. Confirm compatibility by checking the motherboard's QVL list or contacting Acer support. Ensure new modules match the existing A-Data DDR5 16GB specifications. Buy from reputable sellers or contact the laptop manufacturer for guidance.

yeah, that's because you have 2 different types of DDR5 memory all 4 sticks need to be the same.

    mixed memory runs at 2000.

i had 4x16 crucial all were the same. mine ran at 4400-4800 with XMP enabled.

take out the original DDR5 and put the 2x16 crucial where the stock memory was then boot into the BIOS and trust me you will be able to enable it. just click it don't use any keyboard short cuts. select enable then save and exit.
