Battery disconnection question Will I need to disconnect the battery in order to insert the RAM?

Hello. I plan to add another 8GB RAM stick to my nitro. At the moment I already have one. Will I need to disconnect the battery in order to insert the RAM? The air in my room is quite dry and there is static electricity.

Yes, you definitely need to make sure your laptop is completely shut down and not in sleep, hibernate or hybrid mode (disable Fast Startup), you must disconnect the power adapter and immediately disconnect the battery as soon you opened the laptop. Failing to do so will result in data loss and can damage your motherboard. 😚
