If Win-10 operating system registers as a “Digital Key” with Microsoft then that is all that you need, as the serial number means nothing. If you can’t get a “Digital Key” with this new mainboard and its serial number, then read this Reactivating Windows after a hardware change. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Have you not undervolted your cpu? This is normal for stock gaming laptop as they run hot. Although from reading through peoples experiences and also myself. Undervolting increases the life span of a gaming laptop by alot! In theory a gaming laptop can last as much as a desktop as long as cpu temps are below 89c.

Although we cannot undervolt our machines with ACER because they decided to lock our undervolting features in BIOS for whatever reason. It is just another scheme of them wanting you to keep buying their products and sending in your laptop for repairs sooner than later…

Replacing different motherboards will have different serial numbers. The DMI tool is used for internal Acer technicians only. I think the serial number doesn't matter much other than the aesthetic. You can just write the new one on a sticker and put it over the old serial number.

Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!
