Corsair or crucial on the ram and the Ryzen chips love the fast stuff so 3600mhz or 4000mhz check Amazon.

There could be several possible causes for your laptop not shutting down properly after installing a new SSD. Some of them are:

    • The SSD is not installed correctly or securely in the slot or cable.
    • The SSD has corrupted or missing drivers or firmware.
    • The SSD has some bad sectors or errors that prevent it from shutting down.
To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following steps:
    • Check the installation of your SSD and make sure it is properly connected and secured in the slot or cable. Be careful not to damage any components or wires inside your laptop.
    • Check the drivers and firmware of your SSD and make sure they are up to date and working correctly. You can use the Device Manager to update the drivers of your SSD and other devices.
    • Check the health and status of your SSD and scan it for any errors or bad sectors. You can use the CHKDSK command or the MiniTool Partition Wizard⁴ to perform this task. If you find any errors or bad sectors, you can try to fix them or backup your data and format your SSD.
    • Check the power settings and BIOS settings of your laptop and make sure they are configured properly for the SSD. You can go to the Control Panel and select Power Options to adjust the settings for shutting down, hibernating, or sleeping your laptop. You can also go to the BIOS and press Ctrl+S in the main tab and disable the VMD controller⁵ or enable the AHCI mode⁶ for your SSD. Save and exit the BIOS and restart your laptop.

I hope these steps help you resolve your issue.

The Nitro 5 with the AMD Ryzen 5 4600His cpu is the model AN515-44, if that is your laptop then the below specs are the ram specs recommended by Acer for this laptop. DO NOT install DDR4-3600mhz or 4000mhz type ram as it will NOT work. only intsall the below spec ram.

With the M.2 SSD drives for this laptop, the SSD1 boot slot is a PCIe Gen.3x4 and the SSD2 slot is a PCIe3x2 slot, which is about 50% slower than the PCIe3x4. Systematically diagnose the M.2 SSD drive with the steps below, as a new M.2 drive should not be shutting your laptop down prematurely. Good luck

Note: The quickest M.2 drives PCIe3x4 independently tested are: 1TB M.2 SSD drive is the Intel Optane SSD 905P 1.5TB and the quickest PCIe3x4 2TB is the Crucial T500 2TB,.

I'd still try the faster ram if it doesn't work take it back the gains in performance is worth trying. Lie my acer says it supports 4gb but in reality, it supports 4 x2 which is 8. Acer sucks at telling the truth about their hardware limitation.

    Copilot
The AMD Ryzen 5 4600H is a powerful processor often found in high-performance laptops. It supports DDR4 memory with a dual-channel interface1. The highest officially supported memory speed is 4266 MT/s1, which means it can technically support RAM with a speed of 4000 MHz.

However, the actual performance and compatibility might depend on the specific laptop model and its motherboard.
