The headphone port on my Aspire 3 is broken. How do I fix it?

Everytime I want to watch a video or listen to music on my Acer Aspire 3 laptop, it always requires me to twist the ends of my Apple Earpods until the Realtek Audio condole notification pops up, telling me that its connected. The audio is ok, no issues after I click OK on the dialog box. What bothers me so much is that I always have to twist the ends of my Apple Earpods in a certain way so that the message pops up that its connected. The source of my issue is my brother since he borrowed my laptop and started pouring his annoyance during a stupid voice call with his friends. He repeatedly inserted the headphone jack into the port with furious anger. I advised him to consult the internet for answers but he didnt listen to me. Is there anyway I can fix my headphone port without spending for professional repair? Thanks.

Have you tried any other headsets does it do this with all headphones?
If the answer is yes then a USB Dongle would be the answer if you are outside the Warranty period.

No its not the headphones since I forgot to mention this in my post that it does work on my Aspire C24 All in One but not on this laptop. I'll try to consult tech support but I want to see if there is an effective way in fixing the port without calling support.
