I purchased an Acer Kg251q monitor a few months ago and I wanted to connect speakers. When I use them with my computer, I have no problems, but with my xbox, it doesnt work. Is there an audio port that I can't find that I can connect speakers to?

The Acer KG251Q monitor does not have an audio out port, so you can’t directly connect speakers to it. However, you can connect speakers to your system (like your computer or gaming console) that is connected to the monitor. If you’re using an HDMI cable to connect your system to the monitor, the audio will be transmitted through the HDMI cable. If you’re using a gaming console, you can also connect a headset directly to your controller if it has a 3.5mm audio jack. Please note that the exact steps may vary depending on your specific system and speaker setup. If you need more detailed instructions, you might want to refer to the user manuals of your system and speakers. If you’re still having trouble, consider reaching out to Acer’s customer service for further assistance. You can reach Acer Support in the USA at the following number: 1 (866) 695-2237. They are available 24/72. Please have your product’s serial number or SNID ready when you call. If you prefer, you can also text them for support at 1-877-220-2321, available from 5AM to 2AM CST. Please note that these numbers are subject to change, so it’s always a good idea to check the official Acer website for the most current contact information.

You could use a converter with a Hdmi in and out and a speaker out or go through a soundbar.

There are actually a bunch of different KG251Q models. Some come with speakers built in, some do not. Usually if there are speakers installed there will be a volume control on the OSD, but not always. Usually when there are no speakers installed there will be an audio out port that you can use for external speakers. Look at the bottom of the monitor to see what ports are there, and look in the on screen display menu to see what options there are for audio.
