EI342CKR Pbmiippx loop repeat, began shutting off randomly & then would turn back on

I recently bought EI342CKR Pbmiippx and at first it worked great. Just recently it began shutting off randomly (about 3-4 minutes into use) then would turn back on, going through the monitor boot screen about 3-4 minutes after powering off.

I have tried multiple different HDMI cables, Display ports, Power cables and computers. Each results in the same issue.

The monitor has no sign of external damage. I took it to a guy who knows computers and he said it was the display ribbon. Could that really be what's causing the issue and if so, what is the likelihood of repairing it?

If it's been less than a few weeks since purchase, try to return it to the vendor as defective for an exchange or refund before the vendor's return merchandise authorization (RMA) period expire.

If the RMA period has already expired but less than the standard one-year warranty period, then contact an authorized Acer warranty repair service in your region.
