I bought this laptop a few months ago, all was fine. Then all of a sudden about 1 month ago I noticed the sound in my bluetooth headphones would cut in and out. A quick reboot and all was good again until I'd disconnect the headphones and reconnect then I'd have to reboot.

More recently in the last two weeks, rebooting does not always work. When it does I'd get 15 minutes to 30 minutes of headphone use and it would cut the sound in and out.

So I ordered new headphones. happens the same on the new headphone thorugh bluetooth, BUT if I use the usb dongle it does not happen.

In addition I hooked up my ATEM-Mini pro to this laptop and the sound is garbled immediately, cuts in and out and is basically completely unusable. Hooking the same ATEM to my older helios PH3-54 and it works perfectly fine as well as the headphones I replaced as well s the new ones.

Things I've done so far to try to fix it. Made sure all drivers were updated from acer website. system restored to my "day 1" backup when everything seemed to work. system restored through acers software to factory specifications. Even before doing any updates after the system factory restore the sound was garbled.

Downloaded and installed the acer support latest bios and firmware.

Any ideas? is there a bios setting? or some nutty thing I am doing wrong? Never encountered this with an acer product and I've been usingthem since the 1990's..
