I bought a new laptop 3 days ago. Acer Predator Triton 17x. I am constantly experiencing small freezes every 20 seconds or so. This happens while I am watching Netflix (my screen constantly has small freezes, can't watch series without frustration) or when I am scrolling, browsing, it just freezes for a short while not responding. Its even freezing now while I am writting which makes it frustrating.
My predator sense temperature display is 50-75°. My CPU up to 75 on balance mode. I have my laptop on a laptop cooling pad stand, set on max cooling. My system temperature is around 45-50°. My GPU has nothing since I am just browsing and watching Netflix.
Running win 11.
Running BitDefender TotalSecurity antivirus (aldo I don't see why this would be of any importance)
Predator Sense is up to date.
*Could it be the Wi-Fi issue connection ? I tried on 2 different ones, same results.
**If the air flow is the issue how is it that the laptop design that is ment or expected to be placed on a flat surface needs to be placed on a stand with nothing blocking the vents under the laptop (even tho this laptop has vents on back side)
