    That is a USB 3.0 port. You can tell it's 3.0 by the blue connector. The battery symbol tells you it likely provides power to devices even when the laptop is turned off, so can be used for tasks such as charging a phone. Be aware that when using it for that you want to have the laptop plugged in, because it will gradually drain your battery otherwise.
