I’m hoping someone will assist me. I have an acer Spin 1 laptop. When connecting to the WiFi I need to literally stand close to the router to connect. My biggest issue however is if I get disconnected and try reconnect again it give an error stating that “Some information changed since you last connected. We need additional information to complete the connection”. Any advise on how to resolve this issue?

    Welcome @MissMpho,

Please tell us the model (full name) of your laptop and the WLAN device model (see at Win + R, type: devmgmt.msc) it uses.

    It’s a Spin111-33, model N18H1. It uses WLAN+Bluetooth module Intel 9560D2W.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for info!

Try install latest version available for Intel® Wireless-AC 9560 adapter:

    Intel® Wireless-AC 9560

If WiFi disconnection issues persist, it's possible that there is a problem fitting the antenna wires with the Wireless card pigtails.

In this case I recommend waiting until our colleagues with access to the service manuals can be kind enough to post here a picture of the correct procedure to locate and disassemble them.

It does sound as if one or both of the antenna wires might be disconnected. There are ten screws holding the bottom cover on, in two different sizes:

Once off, disconnect the battery to make sure you don't zap something:

Here are where the two antenna wires connect:

Make sure they are both well seated and put everything back together.
