I have tried :

  • Unpluged the charger
  • Pressed the power button 10 seconds until its off
  • Pressed the power button again for 30 seconds
  • Closed the lid
  • Plugged the charger until Orange Light became Blue
  • Press the power button again to turn it on

What should I do?

It seems like you've already attempted some standard troubleshooting steps. If your Acer Nitro 5 (model AN515-58-91T4) still isn't turning on, you might want to try a few additional steps:

    1. Check Power Adapter and Connection:Ensure that your power adapter is functioning correctly. Try a different power outlet, and make sure the connection between the power adapter and the laptop is secure. If possible, test the laptop with another compatible power adapter.
    2. Remove External Devices:Disconnect any external devices (USB drives, external hard disks, etc.) from the laptop. Sometimes, a malfunctioning external device can prevent the laptop from starting.
    3. Battery Reset:If your laptop has a removable battery, try removing it and then reinserting it. For laptops with non-removable batteries, you can perform a battery reset by following these steps:
      • Disconnect the power adapter.
      • Locate the battery reset pinhole on the bottom of the laptop.
      • Insert a paperclip into the pinhole and press and hold the button for 10-15 seconds.
      • Reconnect the power adapter and attempt to turn on the laptop.
    4. Check for Physical Damage:Inspect the laptop for any physical damage, especially around the power button. If there is visible damage, it may require professional inspection and repair.
    5. Boot into BIOS/UEFI:Attempt to access the BIOS or UEFI settings by pressing the corresponding key during startup (usually Del, Esc, or F2). If you can access the BIOS/UEFI, it may indicate an issue with the operating system.
    6. Perform a Hard Reset:Turn off the laptop, disconnect all external devices, and remove the power adapter. Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds. Reconnect the power adapter and try turning on the laptop.
    7. Professional Inspection:If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's advisable to contact Acer's customer support or take the laptop to an authorized service center for professional assistance. There might be an underlying hardware problem that requires expert attention.

If your laptop is still under warranty, Acer's customer support should be able to guide you through the necessary steps or provide further assistance.
