Acer aspire 7 gaming performance issue, basic games like Valorant are lagging.

GTX 1650ti , 8GB RAM, i5 9th gen, Win 10 (latest update)

My laptop is underperforming than any average 1650 laptop with similar specs.

(yes it does have fully re-installed/updated Drivers, yes the game is running on 1650 GPU and yes I did clean my laptop)

no matter what setting I put basic games like Valorant are lagging.

(I'm getting about 90 FPS at 720p lowest graphics where average 1650 laptops are getting about 150+ FPS at 1080p)

only particular games like Control, and Forza Horizon 4 are running properly.

(before Minecraft used to lag but suddenly one fine day it was running fine)

does anyone face the same issue? have any solution?

Check your CPU/GPU temperatures while gaming. They may be going above 90°
