Less than a week ago I purchased an Acer Nitro 5, specifications are I7-11800H, RTX 3060 Laptop, 16gb Ram and SSD 512GB.

Q After a day of use where I installed my stuff and only Steam's The Finals, during a gaming session the computer's performance was severely affected, where the game went from going with an average of 60/80 frames to 15 still with everything at minimum and lowering the resolution to 720p, I tried modifying the power plan, the NitroSense preset and formatting the pc and still the GPU shows a 99% 99% of use all the time and demonstrating disastrous performance in everything, for example, league of Legends does not go more than 40 frames with everything at minimum and low performance mode. The processor is stuck at no more than 20% and the graphics card does not have an efficiency of more than 20W. Is it my computer that was defective from the factory?

Your Nitro laptop specs with an 11th Gen cpu should be the Nitro 5 AN515-56 (which is the exact spec Nitro 5 laptop that I have and my laptop works and has worked perfectly since day one) as you need to setup your laptop properly with the latest bios and gpu firmware updates, do all the windows updates and run your laptop on the last Win-11 version 23H2, then install the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant scan and make sure that all the Intel drivers are up to date, but the most important is to have the Nvidia game ready drivers up to date for the RTX-3050 gpu and for gaming install the GeForce Experience software that has Nvidia’s ultimate settings for over 1500 games.

Doing all the above will make your Nitro laptop perform at its peak, also make sure that you have at least 16GB DDR4-3200MHz CL22 type ram preferably 32GB total ram and install a good quality PCIe3x4 M.2 SSD like the Samsung 970 EVO NVMe drive which I’m also using and my AN515-56 11th Gen works perfectly and has done so since day one. Good luck.
