No, all you have to worry about is to keep the battery fully charged and if the battery is new you have to complete one full charge cycle for BIOS and Windows to register the capacity, failing to do that will result in bad battery data: When Windows is reinstalled, and BIOS is reset or updated you have to repeat that full charge cycle procedure. Accept the fact that all rechargeable batteries deteriorate with time, Li-Ion laptop batteries have an average lifespan of 4 years (3-5) and then need to be replaced, there is no such a thing as "Battery Longevity" where you can magically stretch the 4 years lifespan to 6 years by limiting the charging to 80%, that is a myth started by a Canadian outfit, don't fall for it, leave your power adapter plugged in 24/7 this will not affect the wear of the battery (not shorten the lifespan).

Make sure the laptop is always fully shutdown, disable Hibernate and Fast Startup and reset the Power Plan to factory settings. Disable the "Charge USB while laptop is turned off" option in Acer Quick Access and don't use the 80% charge limiting option in older Acer Care Center versions.
