I have issues connecting my Acer Spin 3 to wireless at 5 GHz. The laptop was purchased in 2022. I have a router in my home using Huawei B530-936, which the router supports Dual Band but the SSID separately for each band. So I have 2 SSIDs in here, SSID for 2.4 GHz and SSID for 5 GHz wifi.
The problem is when I'm trying to connect to wifi it only appears 2.4 GHz. The 5GHz SSID does not appear. The 5Ghz SSID not showing in the available network.
I've already tried using another device, which is my desktop using mercusys adapter dual band AC650. I can connect it to 5GHz band wifi, and the SSID is showing in the available network. Of course, it can because I'm adding an external adapter. I am just curious, is the problem in my router or my device?
Im already too tried all the tutorials on YouTube to solve this problem, including updating the driver. But it's still the same, my expectation is after doing that step my 5GHz SSID will appear and I can use it.
The Questions:
it's my notebook which is an Acer Spin 3 SP313-51N can use 5GHz band wifi or not? The adapter is Killer WIFI6 AX1650i 160MHz 201NGW. I've already done some research, it's supposed to be support. But why I can't use it? the SSID for 5Ghz not showing. Please help me
