Hi,

I am looking to upgrade my nitro5 storage and memory,

I am unable to find correct model on crutial site for RAM and SSD

From looking at the standard specs my MOBO is DDR5, what are the recommended ram speeds and max size it can run.

also, is it possible to enable XMP and overclock ?

Thanks,

Colin

Avoid SODIMMs with XMP profile as they are not compatible with this model, there's no setting available to enable XMP in BIOS, you need to get memory modules with standard JEDEC profile.

Best to add another 8GB DDR5 module (2 x 8GB) so it runs in Dual Channel mode at 4800MHz or replace the existing DDR5 module with a kit from Crucial: https://www.crucial.in/memory/ddr5/ct8g48c40s5/ct24803002 if you add a module it needs to be an exact replicate (part number).

You have two M.2 NVMe Gen 4 slots, so you can add another M.2 NVMe Gen 4 SSD in the second slot, or you can upgrade the current M.2 SSD to a larger SSD. Samsung 990 Pro is the fastest SSD on the market and up to 2TB will work.
