I left my Swft Go 14 (within warranty) on overnight and awoke to a screen that said "no bootable device". I tried various fixes provided on forums with no success. After a few more attempts, I received a critical low battery problem. Are these problems linked?

I don't know which exact Swift Go 14 laptop you have, but a "no bootable device" is due to either a faulty M.2 SSD boot drive or the OS files are corrupted, the battery has nothing to do with the hard drive and you can charge the battery by plugging in your laptops charger which will charge the battery.

If you have valuable data on your hard drive, take the drive out and take the faulty drive to a recovery data technician and put a new M.2 SSD drive and buy a new M.2 SSD and do a clean install of Win-11 23H2 and all its updates.

Make sure the battery is charged properly. If it still has the no bootable device, go to the BIOS to check to see if the SSD is still showing up. Or take it to the local Acer or the retailer for warranty repair.

Yes, for any deeper diagnostics we really do need to know just which laptop you have. Swift Go 14 only describes a series of models over multiple years and with multiple chipsets. Charging is separate from the drive. Just keep it plugged in at least until the battery indicator is showing a full charge. You can do some diagnostics on the drive using a Windows install flash drive, go into the Repair mode, navigate to the command prompt then use diskpart to view the drive.
