Aspire 3 15 Two Outstanding Questions Still No Answer For driver issue.

My second question has to do with the instructions at the top of the Community Home page. As you can see from the screenshot of my home page, the first instruction can't be completed, as my username does not show in the top right. The other instruction to click on Change Picture cannot be completed either, as I do not get that option no matter where I hover my my mouse over. So, obviously, without this option available, I cannot select from one of over 100 avatars.

My first question I asked over last weekend was not answered, either. The volume on my Aspire 3 15 has to be turned up into the 60s and 70s just to get something loud enough to hear sitting at home with no other noise interference. My question was (and still is) is this a driver issue, or can the computer settings be adjusted to increase the volume?

[Edited the thread to add model name to the title and add issue detail]

I just went through changing my picture. Try this:

    1. Click on your system-assigned avatar at the top right of the screen.
    2. Click on "Account and privacy settings".
    3. You should see "Change Picture" in the list of items on the right side of the screen.
    4. You should be able to scroll down through many avatars and choose one.
    5. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the list and finalize your choice.

Thank you, Steve, that brought me to the Avatar selection page. Unfortunately, even with the number of choices there, none are close to a representation of me, so I'll stay with the default for now.
