Predator Helios 300 PH315-52 suddenly discharging while gaming and sometimes crashes

Recently I had to buy a new charger for my Helios 300 PH315-52 and ever since the battery starts discharging in GPU intensive games and also crashes sometimes, displaying a message saying GPU failed to respond or something about DirectX crash. I could be because the GPU might not be getting enough power, but I'm not sure. I'll leave the report of the test I ran while playing BF2042 for 10 minutes. Does anyone know what could be the problem?

The PH315-52 chargers should be either the DELTA 180W 19.5V 1.7x5.5x11 part #: KP.18001.006 or the Chicony Power 180W 19.5V 1.7x5.5x11 part #: KP.1800H.001, as thi sis a 2019 laptop it could be that your battery is also shot and needs replacing and could be why its losing charge. Check that also and buy a new battery as it should fix your problem.

Acer usually don't have a great stock of parts, they get their parts from their distributors and mark them up about 100%, especially for an old laptop like your PH315-52 😀. Best is to go to a reputable Acer parts seller that only sell Acer oem PH315-52 parts in your country. A good genuine Acer parts seller in European that ships overseas is ZANDPARTS - Spare Parts for Acer Notebook PH315-52, so try them out. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Does acer sell the batteries themselves or do I have to find a third-party store?
