I have an acer nitro 5 AN515-57 5620 that comes with 8GB of ram but when i added another stick of 8 GB 3200 mhz, the ram speed on task manager says 2933. Shouldn't it be 3200?

The model of the ram i added is Kingston KVR32S22S6/8

    Hi,

For correct dual-channel operation, it is highly recommended to use exactly the same RAM modules (model / brand).

The memory controller of 11th Gen Intel® Processors family processors is very sensitive and systematic.

Use the CPU-Z tool to compare the "timings" (CL-tRCD-tRP-CAS) of these modules, as any difference could cause a reduction (stuck at DDR4 2933 / 1466 MHz) in the operating clock of the RAM.
