Why does my PC not detect my monitor Acer KG0 on startup?

I recently purchased a new Acer KG0 monitor. It is connected to my gpu (amd 6750xt) via Display Port. Whenever I turn on my pc, the monitor is not detected, and I have to unplug and replug the displayport cable for it to detect. It does this regardless of if the monitor is powered on before or after the pc is turned on. How can I stop this from happening? I am on Windows 11.

Often the PC has power optimized such that unused ports are turned off to save power. Make sure that's not happening with your DP.
