When playing a game my monitor occasionally will go black as if it lost signal. After about 5 seconds it comes back on. This never happened on my previous monitor. I'm using DP, HDR, and G-Sync. I've tried lower resolutions and it still happens, so doesn't seem to be a bandwidth issue.

Have you tried changing the refresh rate or turning off the G-sync? I have 144hz monitor but it does this unless I run it at 120hz for my system it might be a cable version or a graphics one but i just run it at 1440p 120hz.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing signal dropouts with your Acer XV275K P3 monitor while playing games. This issue could be due to a variety of factors, including hardware issues or driver problems. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:
Check Your Cables and Ports: Make sure that your DisplayPort cable is securely connected to your monitor and your computer. If possible, try using a different cable or connecting to a different port.
Update Your Drivers: Make sure that your device drivers, especially your graphics card drivers, are up to date. You can do this by going to the device manufacturer’s website and downloading the latest drivers.
Adjust Your Monitor Settings: Some users have reported that adjusting their monitor settings, such as turning off HDR or G-Sync, helped to resolve this issue.
Check for VRR-Related Bugs: One user reported that the signal dropout issue seemed to be related to Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), as it only occurred when they were in a fullscreen app around 30fps/30hz.
If these steps don’t resolve the issue, it might be best to contact Acer’s customer support for further assistance. I hope this helps.
