Hi,

I am currently facing screen flickering problem in my laptop. I tried to uninstall and reinstall display driver(both intel and nvidia) but issue persist. Furthermore I tried to rollback to windows 10 because I thought this might be due to windows 11 update(I updated to win 11 23H2 few days back) but no luck. I have attached video of the problem for reference. Please help regarding this as I am not sure what to do now. Thanks.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing screen flickering on your Acer PH315-53. This could be due to various reasons such as outdated display drivers, incorrect settings, or hardware issues. Here are some steps you can try:
Check the Refresh Rate: Right-click on the empty area of your desktop screen and click Display settings. Scroll down to Multiple displays and click Advanced display settings. Click Display adapter properties for Display. Click the Monitor tab, select 60 Hertz in Screen refresh rate. Then click Apply > OK. Update Display Drivers: Press Windows + X on your keyboard, go to Device Manager, expand Display adapters, right-click on your graphics card and select Uninstall device. After uninstalling, restart your laptop to reinstall it again. Check for Hardware Issues: If the screen flickers even in the BIOS, it could be a hardware issue. You can check this by turning off the computer, tapping F2 while turning on the computer to go to BIOS, and staying on the BIOS screen for 30 mins. If the display is not looking good on the BIOS screen then it is a hardware issue. Try an External Display: If the flickering isn’t duplicated when connected to an external monitor, it could indicate that the issue is with the display or the display cable.
If these steps don’t resolve the issue, it might be best to contact Acer’s customer support for further assistance. You can reach Acer’s technical support in the United States at the following number: (371) 760-1000.
