Acer Swift 5 SF514-54GT-78Y7 laptop base cover is disintegrating and paint falling off

I bought the Acer Swift 5 laptop (SF514-54GT-78Y7) in June 2020 for S$2400. Around 4-5 months ago, I noticed that the base of the laptop is disintegrating, in the sense that the paint is coming off and there are bubbles forming as well. Right now, much of the laptop base is gone because it just kept shedding. It’s also harmful to my health as there are white paint particles all over my table whenever I use the laptop, and inhaling it causes me much discomfort.

I am extremely disappointed with this, and I HOPE ACER CAN PROVIDE FREE REPAIR because I know some other users of this laptop also face the same issue, which means that it is the design and materials used for the laptop base that caused this problem. I paid S$2400 for this laptop and this is the kind of quality I get. Definitely not worth it and feeling extremely disappointed and hopeless at this point.

    It's happening too with other brand laptops, inferior coating materials used by (Chinese?) contractors, the heat and moisture (table tops/sweat, especially in the tropics can cause that, Acer will replace the bottom cover if you make a claim, contact Acer Support or directly Acer Services in your country.

    I faced the same problem. Contacted the Acer Services in Penang (Highpoint Service network Sdn Bhd) on 17 Nov 2023. Asked to paid RM60 to check if there was a replacement available for PURCHASE (at my own cost). Later told no such spare part in their warehouse. And RM60 not refunded. I am extremely disappointed with Acer Services and product.
